Nothing can compare with the fun that is to be had at your boot camp so I will be back in August and am very much looking forward to it!

I’m loving this boot camp! Not only have I noticed positive changes with my body, the pain in my hip from bursitis has disappeared!

It made me feel like I actually got my butt kicked at a workout—I loved it!!! All the muscles I forgot that I had were sore, it was great! You maybe don’t realize when you are working out on your own that you are taking it a bit easy on yourself; but when someone is showing you how to target those muscles, you really feel like you had an awesome workout.

What I appreciate so much is no matter what your fitness level coming into the boot camp, Shawna treats everyone the same. She doesn’t make you feel less than anyone else just because you can’t keep up. Also, Shawna is very approachable if I do have any questions or concerns. I can tell she just wants to help me achieve my fitness goals whatever that might be for me.

I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how much I am enjoying Boot camp. Today was especially good, as I am realizing just how weak/undeveloped my core is. Abs, inner thigh and even the dreaded push ups are exactly the areas I need to work on, and today's program was jam packed with all of the above, and punctuated with enough cardio to keep my confidence up (the running I can do; the strength stuff not so much). I can really see a difference after only a couple of weeks- I feel stronger, I hold myself taller, I have more energy. I really appreciate your style- you have a remarkable ability to both encourage and challenge us at the same time and to do so a gentle way. Let me also say how great I think it is that you've taken the time and effort to learn each of our names (and injuries!) it's such an important thing to do, and people really appreciate it.

Shawna’s camp was a wonderful experience that can not be replaced with a video or book. Her inspiration and enthusiasm actually has me LOOKING FORWARD to my alarm going off so I can go to camp at 5:30am!!!

One reason I really like the way you handle the camp is that there isn’t a lot of yelling and cheerleader-style screaming, just give quiet friendly encouragement. That way I can concentrate on what I’m doing, and be aware of the way I’m doing a certain exercise and how my body feels.
